Jennifer “Jenny” L. Winston, 54, of Monmouth passed away at 11:29 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2020. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
    She was born April 28, 1966, in Chicago, the daughter of John William “Bill” and Sondra (Bollinger) Winston.
    Jenny graduated from Rushville High School in 1984. She loved everything and had a smile as big as this world. She also loved her nephews, referring to them as “her boys.”
    She worked as a bookkeeper with her father in the accounting and tax preparation business.
    Jenny endured many hardships but had a great spirit and rarely complained. She received a kidney donation 20 years ago from her sister-in-law Carol, giving her a better life for 20 years. She always wanted to do her best. Her mother loved her very much and considered it a gift to know Jenny. She was so special to her.
    She is survived by her mother, Sondra Winston of Monmouth, her brother, John (and Carol) Winston of Monmouth, three nephews, Daniel (and Julie White) Winston of Springfield, and Derek Winston and Joshua Winston, both of Monmouth, aunt Elsie Winston of Browning and numerous cousins.
    Jenny was preceded in death by her father.
