The Lady Tigers dropped a pair of contests this past week, losing to Knoxville in a one-sided 77-31 loss, and then last Saturday dropped an xx to xx decision to Elmwood at the Tiger Den.

This one was almost over after the opening tip-off as the Lady Blue Bullets put the “hurt” on the hometown gals right from the get-go with a blistering 36-8 blowout in the first period of play.
Megan Axcell lit up the scoreboard with game-high 27 points, with 16 of those coming in the opening frame as she blistered the O&B. Paige Case added insult to injury when she canned three from beyond the arc in the 36-point onslaught in the first quarter.
BHS’s Aileana Rawlins poured through 15-points to lead the locals scoring, as the junior scoring guard was the only O&B player to hit double figures.             BHS trailed 53-16 at the intermissionas the Lady Blue Bullets continued to pound the O&B. Rawlins had eight at the break, while Maddie Fox knocked down a trey. for the Lady Tigers, while Axcell added another eight points to her total on four buckets, and Case hit another triple for the Lady Blue Bullets.
Knoxville continued its scoring binge with a 14-6 advantage in the third stanza following he midway brreak as both Megan Ringert and Karsen Hise added a pair of 3-bangers. Rawlins with four, and a basket by Fox scored the six-points put on the scoreboard by the Lady Tigers.
Knoxville called off the dogs early in the final period, but still managed to outscore BHS 10-8 in the final frame. Nancy Madrid had four points to lead the O&B with and Rawlins adding a 3-banger for the hometowners in the last go-around.

BHS vs. Elmwood
The BHS Lady Tigers battled hard against Elmwood last Saturday at the Tiger Den, but came up short in a 46-31 loss.
Aileana Rawlins led the O&B with 18 points, with Summer Lindsey tossing in nine points in the losing effort.
The first period was back and forth in the early going with the Lady Trojans of Elmwood holding a 10-5 margin after one period of play. Rawlins had all five points for the locals, while Abby Frietsch led Elmwood with a pair of 3-bangers.
The pace picked up in the second stanza with the visitors putting an 18-10 difference on the scoreboard to lead at intermission by thirteen 28-15. Frietsch continued to lead the attack for the Lady Trojans with five points including another triple. Jordan Jones scored all of her game four points in the second period. Rawlins with six, and baskets from Maddie Fox and Lindsey kept the O&B hopes alive.
The two squads battled on near even terms in the third quarter following the rest stop with the visitors edging out a slim 11-10 advantage.
Shyan Jones led the way for Elmwood with four points, while Frietsch added her fourth 3-banger of the contest. Lady Tiger Lindsey paced the hometowners with six points, while Rawlins added four, as the two paced the O&B efforts.
The final frame began with two teams going at each other hard in the final frame with the visitors edging out a 7-6 difference to post the 46-31 final.
The locals had no answer for Frietsch as she nailed her fifth trey in the last get-go. Rawlins canned a trey, and Nancy Madrid scored her lone bucket to go with Lindsey one-of-two from the line to finish up the scoring.
