Jorge M. Torrech, of Beardstown, was issued citations for no valid driver’s license and driving while license suspended, at 6:50 p.m., Nov. 20 at 13th and Wall Street.
Debra S. Martin, of Beardstown was issued citations for improper lane use and operating an uninsured vehicle, at 1:32 p.m., Nov. 18 in the 200 block of State Street.
Danielle M. Mayes, of Frederick, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle on Nov. 18 in the 200 block of State Street.
Shirlene A. Matthews, of Springfield, was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license at 10:37 a.m., Nov. 18 at Highway 67 and 125.
Candace A. Collins, of Beardstown, was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license at 8:36 a.m., Nov. 18 at 14th and Canal Streets.
Lincoln A. Morrell, of Beardstown was involved in a traffic accident on Nov. 23. Morrell missed the turn into the Budget Inn on Route 125, and drove into the ditch on the north side of the road. Morrell was able to get the car out of the ditch with the assistance of a tow truck. Minimal damage was done to the ditch and Morrell’s vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper and hood.
On Nov. 19, at approximately 2:23 p.m., a Beardstown officer was dispatched to the area of 113 E. Main to investigate a vehicle crash at which one of the vehicles had fled the scene.
Complainant, Billie J. Quincy stated that her car was parked in a marked parking spot on the 100 block East Main when another vehicle rear ended her parked car. Quincy and witness, Sarah N. Graham, stated the vehicle failed to report the crash and left the scene. The Quincy vehicle sustained minimal damage to the rear bumper on the driver side. Quincy took down the license plate number of the other vehicle (A814392) and reported it to the officer.
