Beardstown Police:
Assault and criminal damage:
Chadwick Ross Treadway was cited for assault, criminal damage to property under $300, two counts of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to real property in incidents that took place on Oct. 29 at approximately 11:45 p.m. at the Freight House Tavern (704 E. 4th St.) and 500 E. 8th St. In the same incidents, Billy J. Treadway was cited for assault and disorderly conduct. Chadwick Treadway was arrested and held without bond in the Schuyler County Jail and both were given notice to appear in court Nov. 18.
Drug possession and DUI:
Sarah L. Bennett was cited for possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis on Oct. 26 at 2:22 a.m. at 7th and Edwards and was given notice to appear in court Nov. 18. In the same incident, Crystal D. Navarette was cited for DUI and disobeying a stop sign and was given notice to appear in court Nov. 26.
Disorderly conduct:
Jennifer L. Hagerty was cited for disorderly conduct on Oct. 28 at 11:54 a.m. at Annie’s Tavern (201 E. Main St.). Hagerty was arrested and held without bond in the Schuyler County Jail and was given notice to appear in court Nov. 18.
Traffic Offenses:
Christian Kabamba Etumba of Jacksonville was cited for driving while license suspended, no valid registration, operating an uninsured vehicle, and failure to transfer title on Oct. 30 at 3:22 p.m. on Arenzville Rd. and was given notice to appear in court Nov. 26.
Accidents:
A traffic accident occurred on Oct. 29 at 14th and Wall involving vehicles driven by Justin S. Brannan, Christy L. O’Hara, and Elena A. Baeza De Marino. Brannan and O’Hara were cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
A traffic accident occurred on Oct. 19 at 4:57 p.m. at 12th and Edwards involving vehicles driven by Sara A. Mutela of Springfield and Rucilla L. Morrell of Beardstown.
Burglary:
Willis M. Bigham was cited for residential burglary and criminal damage to property on Nov. 7 at 3:15 a.m. at 1001 Wall St. Bigham was arrested and held without bond in the Schuyler County Jail and given notice to appear in court Dec. 9.
Weapon:
Dylan A. Logsdon was cited for unlawful use of a weapon on Nov. 7 at 9:20 a.m. at 317 W. 6th. In the same incident, Devlyn D. Downs was cited for resisting or obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct. Both were given notice to appear in court Nov. 25.
No insurance:
Lincoln A. Morrell was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle on Nov. 7 at 12:31 p.m. at 10th and Canal and was given notice to appear in court Nov. 26.
Accident:
A traffic accident occurred on Nov. 7 involving vehicles driven by Richard K. Hutson and Blake M. Patrick.
Cass County Sheriff’s Office
Drug paraphernalia:
Michael A. Livingston of Beardstown was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia Oct. 27.
Traffic Offenses:
William Steven Looker of Beardstown was cited for driving while license revoked or suspended Oct. 28.
Tracy L. Hidalgo of Naples was cited for driving while license suspended Nov. 1.
Sarah J. Surratt of Chandlerville was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle, operating with registration suspended, and one headlight not working Nov. 1.
Crystal A. Hoffman of Virginia was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol Nov. 2.
Susan D. Bailey was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol Nov. 2.
Larry J. Goodman was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol Nov. 2.
Accident:
A traffic accident took place on Oct. 29 at 7:34 p.m. on County Highway 2 when Breann A. Knapp of Ashland swerved to avoid a deer, hit a ditch, lost control and overturned.
State’s Attorney Ramon M. Escapa reports the following action was taken in the Schuyler County Circuit Court before the Honorable Alesia A. McMillen:
Yomar H. Acosta-Ramirez, of Beardstown, was sentenced in abstentia following his failure to appear in court. Acosta-Ramirez having previously pled guilty to driving while license suspended, was sentenced to 364 days in jail and ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $1,615. A no bond warrant was issued for his failure to appear.
Hector Hugo Alvarado Lopez, of Beardstown, entered a plea of guilty to speeding, placed on 60 days supervision, fined $240.
Amanda Kay Hardwick, of Beardstown, entered a plea of guilty to speeding, was placed on 90 days supervision, fined $290.
Kimberly N. McGill of Browning, entered a plea of guilty to speeding, placed on 60 days supervision, fined $240.
Bryan M. Thurman, of Beardstown, entered a plea of guilty to speeding, placed on 60 days supervision, fined $240.
Adam Werries, of Meredosia, entered a plea of guilty to speeding, placed on 60 days supervision, fined $240.
State’s Attorney Ramon M. Escapa reports the following action was taken in the Schuyler County Circuit Court before the Honorable Scott J. Butler:
Samuel Hardwick, of Beardstown, entered a plea of guilty to unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, and was ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $230.

Russel J. Lyttker, of Browning, entered a plea of guilty to obstructing justice, was sentenced to 30 days jail, placed on 12 months conditional discharge and ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $870.
