In the Lady Jays lone volleyball match this week, Porta/A-C battled Lutheran High on the Lady Jays home hardwood, coming up short in two sets by scores of 11-25, 10-25. Breann Knapp had two service points, and Addison Lovedahl was credited with four kills.
The Lady Trojans dropped two matches last week, losing in a very closely contested match with Carrollton in a WIVC contest tilt in three sets, 21-25, 25-23, 23-25, and lost to Greenfield in another WIVC match-up in straight sets 17-24, 21-25, and now stand at 12-11 overall.
They took on the Lady Saukees of Pittsfield Monday night on the road in a non-conference clash and won in two sets.
Beardstown Lady Tigers fell to Farmington in a Prairieland Conference clash in a spirited two game set 24-26, 22-25 at home. Kylie Alexander led the way with six service points, with Lauren Young credited with 13 assists.
The O&B hit the road for a conference match with a Prairieland conference match with Abingdon/Avon losing in two sets by scores of 14-25, 23-25. Maddie Fox led the way with five points and three aces.

In a very hotly contested and hard fought match with Carrollton, Triopia lost in three sets. They lost the first game 25-11, came back to win the second set 25-23, and dropped the rubber contest 25-23. Kendi Sayre and Abbie Milby had seven service points each, while Milby posted two service aces.
