Originating as a telephone company, Cass Telephone Company (CTC), has grown to employ 90+ local people. CTC remains in operation servicing Ashland, Chandlerville, Easton and Virginia.
In 1965, CASSCOMM began the Cable TV branch, with its origination in Beardstown, and has been expanding ever since, now covering 36 communities.
With the ever advancing technology, CASSCOMM added Internet services to their offerings in 1996 and Digital Phone services in 2009.
Most recently, CASSCOMM announced the enhanced Rural Xlerated High-Speed Internet service surrounding many of its communities. In 2012, CASSCOMM broadened its reach in the rural Beardstown area and now has the ability to service even more customers. Casey French, CASSCOMM’s Marketing & Public Relations Manager, stated, “We are a local business focused on our customer's needs. We work hard every day to deliver a quality product and build trust, & unlike our competitors we don’t use contracts to keep a customer's service.”
