BHS Soccer team improved it's season PDF Print E-mail

The BHS soccer team improved its season mark to 5-2 with a 2-1 win over Pleasant Plains on the Cardinals home turf last Wednesday. Sophomore Ulises Leon scored both of the BHS goals in the Tigers victory.
The two teams played to a scoreless first half with the Tigers drawing first blood when Ulises Leon scored unassisted just after the second half started at 19:30. Pleasant Plains tied the contest with four minutes left when the Cardinals Dalton Phillips scored an unassisted goal to tie the game at 1-1.
Leon scored the winning goal, again unassisted, for the O&B with 2:00 left in the match to give the locals a hard earned 2-1 win.
