Last Friday, several volunteers were on hand at Casey’s General Store in Beardstown to pump gas and wash windshields for tips. All tips were given to the Cass County Food Pantry.
Volunteers from West Central Bank, West Central Insurance, Cass County Food Pantry Board of Directors and Casey’s employees were busy from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Beardstown residents stepped up and gave generously. Over $1100 was raised in the short period of time.
Linda Scott, West Central Bank said “All I can say is WOW and thank you to everyone who made this event so successful - everyone who worked and everyone who donated. And a special thank you to Mike Rahn and his crew at Casey’s. They were great.”
