Casey’s helps Cass County Food Pantry PDF Print E-mail
Written by julie

When Michael Rahn, manager of the local Casey’s, asked how they could help the Cass County Food Pantry, he meant it. He made a suggestion to Linda Scott, Food Pantry board member, that maybe a group of people would be willing to “pump gas for tips” on a specific day with all the tips generated going to the Food Pantry. And the plan began.
On Friday, Sept. 13, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., there will be area volunteers and Casey’s employees on hand to pump your gas and wash your windshield at the local Casey’s Convenience Store located at 1202 Grand Avenue in Beardstown.
All tips generated from the first annual “Pumping Gas for Tips Day” will help fill the shelves at the Food Pantry. You are invited to stop in, buy some gas and get your windshields washed on Friday, Sept. 13.
