The Central/Southern Illinois group Broseph E. Lee has grown to become a band that brings a party every night they play. From simple, acoustic roots in local bars to plugged-in rock shows that have created a regional buzz, this group of musicians have no plans of slowing down their pace of writing, recording, and booking shows.
This year, the band released their first self-titled EP through the production of Avery Records. Since March, the EP has spread their musical message to dedicated local fans as well as internationally, with iTunes sales outside of the United States. Pat Wolfe, the 2012 Riverfront Times (St. Louis) "Best FM Radio Personality," had this to say about the Brosephs' latest release:
"The lyrics are honest, the musicianship is top notch, and I look forward to hearing much, much more from this promising new band. One of the top local releases of 2013!"
Broseph E. Lee is nothing more than a tight group of friends who love to hold a big party for all of the people that support their tunes. The individual character and love of music from each member shine in their live performances and the crowd seems to walk away feeling like they know the bandmates on a personal level. That's what seems to work for this band - an honest portrayal of themselves in songs that they perform and a mix of ideas from the different musical backgrounds of each Broseph. Brock, Ebby, Sean, Aaron, Brooks, Chris, and Russ are very thankful for the support they have received on every level so far and are inspired to continue to work together to tell their stories through music.
