Two more Cass Rural Water District water meters have been damaged by mowing in the past month. This is in addition to one damaged the month before. The CRWD board is planning to spray herbicide around the meters to kill vegetation obstructing them from view.
The auditor report for the past fiscal year was presented at the Aug. 13 meeting of the board as was the second quarter financial report.
The board also discussed the need to adopt an official letterhead.
The board continued discussions on the next steps of the Sangamon Valley annexation project.
