Two lady softball players from teams the Star-Gazette covers were selected to the first team JJC?All-Area squad.
Lady Tiger Allaina Leischner has been selected to the first team JJC All-Area as an outfielder.
Joining Leischner on the first team honor squad is Emily Carls of Triopia.
Leischner hit a robust .417, going 35-for-72; collected two home runs, smashed seven triples, three doubles, 23 RBI’s and scored 35 runs.
Carls batted a sizzling .472 on 34 of 72; hit two home runs, ripped two triples, collected eight doubles, 23-RBI’s and scored 35 runs.
Lauren O’Daniel of Triopia earned second honors as a catcher.
Maddi Fox, Lady Tiger, was selected as a third team catcher, while Aileana Rawlins was a third team shortstop.
Selected from BHS Lady Tigers squad were: Claire Hardwick, Jill Harris, Kait Herter, Megan Icenogle, Kaila Kirchner, Kennedi Lindley and Emma White.
Selected from the Triopia Lady Blue team were:
Emily Burns, Korti Dunlap, Sammi Shanks, and Elizabeth Werries.
