Seward-Monteros wed in California PDF Print E-mail

Elizabeth Anne Seward of Las Vegas, Nevada and Todd Christopher Espinosa de los Monteros of Diamond Bar, California, were married on Saturday, April 27 at four o’clock in the afternoon in San Clemente, Calif., at the historic St. Clement’s by-the-sea Episcopal Church. The Rev. Patrick Crerar officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Michael Seward of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Beardstown.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Anthony Espinosa de los Monteros of Diamond Bar, Calif.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lois Fischer of Beardstown.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Espinosa de los Monteros of Anaheim Hills, Calif.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a family heirloom wedding gown, worn by both her mother, Amy, and her aunt, Sue Sherrill, of Jacksonville. The Vogue couture candlelight satin gown with Irish trimmed lace and a chapel length train was designed and hand made in 1970. The bride wore a floor-length illusion veil and carried a bouquet of white lilies wrapped in ivory satin.
The groom wore a black Vera Wang tuxedo with a white bow tie and boutonniere of white lilies.
Chelsea Gavin, of North Brandford, Conn., childhood friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Whitney Nord, of Indianapolis, Ind., friend of the bride, and Nicole Monteros, of Diamond Bar, Calif., sister of the groom, were bridesmaids. They wore black Tadashi Shoji floor-length dresses and carried bouquets of white lilies wrapped in ivory satin.
Tyler Monteros, of Diamond Bar, Calif., served as his brother’s best man. Adam Seward, presently of Beijing, China, and Mark Seward, of Las Vegas, brothers of the bride, were groomsmen. They wore black Vera Wang tuxedos with black bow ties and boutonnieres of white lilies. The ushers were Denis Orr and Levi Rubio, both of Diamond Bar, Calif., and childhood friends of the groom.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the historic Casa Romantica, a hilltop mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean and San Clemente Pier. Live music was performed by The Next Movement band, a Motown group from Las Vegas, and formerly of Chicago.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Nevada in Reno, and has a bachelor’s degree in education. She works as a model for a creative design company located in Las Vegas. The groom has a bachelor’s degree in business accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is currently working on his masters of business degree from UNLV.
The couple honeymooned in Majahuitas Resort off the coast of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and reside in Las Vegas.
