Mr. and Mrs. Morris Bell of rural Chandlerville, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on March 14.
Morris and Doris (Schaub) were united in marraige on March 14, 1948 at the Presbyterian Church in Mason City by the Rev. Jensen.
They are the parents of three daughters, Rosanne (Darell) Sarff of Chandlerville, Kristine (Dennis) Lane of Lawrence, Kansas, and Lori (Steve) Turner of Chandlerville. The couple has nine grandchildren: Eric Sarff, Rachel Schultz, Tom, Jeff, Matthew and Tess Lane, Amanda, Brandon and Jacob Turner, and 11 great-grandchildren.
The couple are life-long farmers and after years of before dawn and after sunset working hours, the porch swing and rocking chair are good places to be watching life on the farm and telling stories of years gone by.
