Travis Schroll was a multi-sport athlete in high school. The Beardstown High School graduate was a football, basketball, and baseball player in high school; with baseball being his favorite of the three. But it is something he did not get into until after high school that has him on a path to one of the country’s most prestigious endurance races. He began endurance running as part of a college physical fitness class and he has been running ever since. And now he has run himself into the Boston Marathon.
