The Meredosia Historical Society meeting will be held at 7 p.m., at the Meredosia Church of Christ. The public is encouraged to attend.

* The 4th Annual Westown Ford All-Star Girls Basketball Game will be held in Jacksonville at Illinois College’s Bruner Center. Events begin at 6:30 p.m. A three-point shootout will precede the all-star game.

* Free Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) hunter safety course on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20, at the Golden Age Center, 105 West 3th Street, Beardstown. The class is from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday night, and from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The Emergency Services Disaster Agency for Morgan county will be sponsoring a Weather Training class held at 6:30 class in the Jacksonville High School Auditorium.
